General Government Committee

That the Minutes of the regular meeting of the General Government Committee held on December 12, 2022 be adopted.

That the 2022 Annual Report of the Integrity Commissioner be received for information.

That the report ‘2022 Municipal & School Board Elections: Debrief Assessment’ be received for information.

1. That the attached procedures/practices for Electronic Participation (Policy 158) be approved (ATT-1).

1. That Council award the contract for the design of the Annandale Trail to The MBTW Group in the amount of $129,334.15 (inclusive of all taxes). 2. That Council approve funding of $91,849.82, to be allocated to Capital Account No. 23004101 from the Capital Contingency Reserve.

That Council convene to a Closed Session pursuant to Section 239 (2) (b), (e) and (f) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees, litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board, and advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

1. That Ajax Council nominate Lori Roberts for appointment to the Durham Land Division Committee for the 2023-2026 term; 2. That Ajax Council nominate Neil Guthrie for appointment to the Durham Agricultural Advisory Committee (DAAC) for the 2023-2026 term; 3. That Ajax Council nominate Muaz Nasir for appointment to the Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee (DECAC) for the 2023-2026 term; 4. That Ajax Council nominate Arshia Ali for appointment to the Durham Transit Advisory Committee (DTAC) for the 2023-2026 term; and 5. That Ajax Council nominate Tanja Van Helsdingen for appointment to the Durham Active Transportation Advisory Committee (DATC) for the 2023-2026 term.
