General Government Committee

That the Minutes of the regular meeting of the General Government Committee held December 9, 2024, be adopted.

1. That this report, on the potential over-expenditure on Capital Project Number 23090202 – Fire Station #2 Renovation, previously Awarded to Anacond Construction on June 19, 2023, be received for information. 2. That this report, on the potential over-expenditure on Capital Project Number 23090202 – Contract Administration – Fire Station #2 Renovation previously Awarded to Aecom Canada Ltd. on June 19, 2023, be received for information.

1. That Council Award the Contract for rehabilitation and retrofitting of stormwater management ponds (SWMP) 7 & 19 to QM Environmental in the amount of $1,016,592.07 (inclusive of all taxes). 2. That Council approves additional funding of $274,429.28 to be allocated to Capital Account No. 29041001 (SWMP 7) from the Stormwater Maintenance Reserve. 3. That Council approves additional funding of $264,030.80 to be allocated to Capital Account No. 23041001 (SWMP Pond 19) from the Stormwater Maintenance Reserve.

That the 2024 Mission: Inclusion status update be received for information.

That the by-law to authorize the use of internet and telephone voting methods in the 2026 Municipal & School Board Elections (ATT-1) be presented to Council for approval.

That Council approve the Corporate Customer Service Standards Policy (ATT-1) and the Accessible Customer Service Standards Policy (ATT-2).

That Council convene to a Closed Session pursuant to Section 239 (2) (a) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, to discuss the security of the property of the municipality or local board.

1. That the Cybersecurity Strategy (ATT-1) be endorsed in principle; and, 2. That any projects, technologies, staff resources and initiatives identified therein be considered as part of the annual budget process.

That the January 13, 2025 meeting of the General Government Committee be adjourned.
