That the Minutes of the regular meeting of the General Government Committee held on June 13, 2022 be adopted.

General Government Committee September 12, 2022 _________________________________________________________________________________________ That the Minutes of the Closed Session of the General Government Committee held on June 13, 2022 be adopted.

That items 4.3, 4.8 and 4.9 of the consent agenda be adopted.

That Council approve the establishment of the Corporate Giving and Partnerships Reserve based on the criteria outlined in this report.

1. That the report on the Insurance Renewal – July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 be received for information; and 2. That the 2022 dividend of $111,016 be transferred to the insurance reserve.

That the Tax Section Status Report be received for information.

1. That the recommended fees schedule (ATT-1) be approved, effective January 1, 2023; and 2. That the appropriate General Fees By-law be presented to Council for approval.

That the Town Clerk be authorized to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ajax Public Library, substantially in the form attached hereto (ATT-1), to provide for the transfer of ownership of the Ajax Archives to the Library, and for provision of service related thereto by the Library.

That the recommendation be amended by adding the following language at the end of clause 1: Subject to the following change: General Government Committee September 12, 2022 _________________________________________________________________________________________ That category B in ATT-1 to the report be amended and paid at the rate of $65/meeting.

1. That the recommended Committee & Board Honoraria Schedule (ATT-1) be approved for implementation in the 2022-2026 Committee & Board term, subject to the following change: That category B in ATT-1 to the report be amended and paid at the rate of $65/meeting.

1. That the report on the contract for Municipal Vehicles ~ Trucks, to Blue Mountain Chrysler Ltd. in the amount of $597,668.30 (inclusive of all taxes), be received for information; 2. That the following funding, to be allocated to Capital Account No. 1030911, 1031011, 1031211, 1031311, 1031411, 1035011, 1035111, 1032811: Development Reserve $57,007.89 Vehicle/Equipment Reserve $41,210.93 Total $98,218.82

1. That a by-law to authorize the conveyance of Parts 1 to 5 of 40R-31625 to the Regional Municipality of Durham to facilitate the construction of Bus Rapid Transit median bus- only lanes on Kingston Road between Salem Road and Galea Drive be presented to Council at its meeting on September 19, 2022.

1. That Council direct staff to acquire Parts 1-2 of 40R-31755 from 2558091 Ontario Ltd. for a purchase price of $4,760 plus HST, plus compensation for legal fees to a maximum of $1,000 (inclusive of HST), plus closing costs in the amount of $1,950; to facilitate the construction of a 3.0m wide off-road multi-use trail on north side of Rossland Road West; 2. That funding for the acquisition be drawn from Capital Account No. 1018611 (Rossland Road Widening – Church Street to Westney Road Construction); and 3. That a by-law to authorize the execution of an Agreement of Purchase and Sale with 2558091 Ontario Ltd. be presented to Council at its meeting on September 19, 2022.

1. That the report on Ajax Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Program (Ajax SNAP) – Program Update be received for information.

That the September 12, 2022 meeting of the General Government Committee be adjourned.
